President and Chief Executive Officer - Walter Kritsky, PE, LEED AP
Walter Kritsky is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Pennsylvania and Texas as well as a licensed Class A General Contractor, Solar Contractor, Plumbing Contractor, Mechanical Contractor and Roofing Contractor in Florida. Mr. Kritsky is also a LEED accredited professional with over 41 years of professional and diverse experience ranging from Commercial engineering and construction and Naval and Commercial Nuclear Engineering to Inventions for Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) and Energy improvements. Starting his professional career with American Bridge in Pittsburgh, PA, he quickly moved into employment with Westinghouse in both the Commercial and Navy nuclear programs. Mr. Kritsky has held senior level positions with US Ecology (VP-Nuclear Equipment Services Division with its primary responsibility for High Voltage 9000 HP RCP Motor Refurbishment/Rewind) in Oak Ridge Tennessee. In Florida, Mr. Kritsky held Senior Level positions at CNL Hotels and Resorts and Central Florida Investments in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Kritsky also owned an 18 person MEP Engineering Company in Winter Park, Florida that was responsible for Healthcare, Hospitality, Commercial, Industrial, Manufacturing and Educational Facility design. In 1995, Mr. Kritsky became one of the founders of the University of Tennessee’s Maintenance and Reliability Center in Knoxville, Tennessee. His creative and innovative thinking has resulted in Patented Improvements in the HVAC and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) market segments (Patents 7628026 and D618777). These patents have also resulted in Trademarks (Dr. PTAC and Dr. VTAC). Throughout his professional years, Mr. Kritsky has authored various technical papers for Nuclear Power in the United States, EPRI (Electric Power Research Institute), Power-Gen, the American Power conference and AHCA (Agency for Health Care Administration) in Florida. Mr. Kritsky is the recipient of several honors and awards including the highest recognition for advancements in quality standards. Mr. Kritsky has undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and is continuing to assist the Healthcare, Hospitality, Energy, Solar, Industrial, Military and Educational industries with development of new patents as well as providing technical oversight in the Energy Sector.

Vice President and Chief Operating Officer - Stephen E. Downes, PE, CEM, LEED AP, Realtor
Stephen Downes is a seasoned Professional Engineer, business owner and business development executive with over 18 years of experience. Stephen has secured his Professional Engineering licensure in the states of Florida, Kentucky, South Carolina, North Carolina and Georgia and has focused on the Energy, Water and Sustainability industry for over 15 years. In addition, Stephen has secured his LEED accreditation through the US Green Building Council and Certified Energy Manager (CEM) through the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). After receiving his Environmental Engineering degree from the University of Florida, Stephen entered this engineering career in the consultation space working for BEM Systems and then subsequently Tetra Tetra Tech, Inc working at United States Air Force (USAF) military bases on environmental remediation and energy efficiency projects for the Federal Government. Finding a knack for business development, he then entered into the sales force for Honeywell Incorporated and worked with executive level clients on building energy efficiency projects which included over $3.5M of projects resulting in over $1M of energy savings. Expanding his energy efficiency and business development skills, Stephen entered into a Energy Savings Performance Contracting business development role with Energy Systems Groups (ESG) for the State of Florida. Leading new and existing client accounts and developing new projects, Stephen engaged with the Municipalities, Universities, Schools, and Hospital (MUSH) markets executives to understand their needs and goals for improving their infrastructure. He was instrumental on developing and successfully securing the City of Oakland Park, Florida Smart Water Meter project of over $6M which helped save over $200k for the city annually. This was the only successful ESG project secured in the State of Florida in over 5 years. Stephen then decided to pursue his passion in real estate and obtained his State of Florida Real Estate License while also remaining an independent contractor for Energy Savings Companies. Having sold over $50M in 4 years, Stephen now focuses on further pursuing his passion to help clients in the energy, water and sustainability sectors as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for CTG.
